About this Game

Play Scopa online free — no download, no signup needed. Scopa is Italy's beloved fishing card game where you capture table cards by matching their values. Built for 2 to 4 players, the name means 'broom' in Italian because you're sweeping cards off the table.

On Stone Online, you can jump straight into a game against AI opponents at 4 difficulty levels — from casual to expert. Once you've got the hang of it, challenge real players worldwide in real-time matches. No app install, no waiting.

Italians have played Scopa in cafes and family kitchens for centuries. The rules take a minute to learn, but deciding which cards to grab and which to leave behind gives the game a strategic depth that keeps you coming back.

How to Play

You'll use a 40-card Italian deck. Deal 3 cards to each player and place 4 face-up on the table. On your turn, play one card from your hand to capture table cards whose values add up to your card's value. For example, play a 7 to grab a 3 and a 4. If you can't capture anything, your card stays on the table.

Sweep all the table cards in one play and you've scored a 'scopa' worth 1 point. Once all cards are played, you tally bonus points. Most cards overall gets 1 point. Most Coins suit cards gets 1 point. The 7 of Coins (Settebello) is worth 1 point. Highest Primiera score earns 1 point. First team to 11 or 21 points wins.
